Instead of beachfront property, this sprawling house sits in the middle of farmland in the heart of the Hamptons. The overall style is one of traditional sizes and proportions but with modern details. We were commissioned by design firm S.R. Gambrel to provide custom three Gas Log Sets in different sizes and two wood-burning gas lighter gratings to fit off-the-shelf masonry fireplace kits. The result is a modern set with clean lines and a simple presentation. Andirons selected by Gambrel tuck under the log sets to create a different look for each room, including the easy to start wood-burning gas lighter gratings.
